The extension does nothing on YouTube.
Refresh the YouTube tab after installing. Some content scripts only attach on a fresh page load. If that doesn't help, confirm the extension is enabled at chrome://extensions/.
Keyboard shortcuts (Alt+A / Alt+B / Alt+L) aren't firing.
Open chrome://extensions/shortcuts and confirm the shortcuts are bound. Also make sure the YouTube tab is focused — Chrome only routes shortcuts to the active tab. If another extension is using Alt+A, change Looper's binding here.
Loop drifts or skips by a fraction of a second.
Focus the Looper widget on the page and nudge point B back using the Arrow keys. YouTube's HTML5 video has a built-in seek tolerance, especially on longer videos. Nudging by 50–150ms usually fixes it.
Saved sections disappeared.
If Chrome sync was disabled or your account changed, sections that were stored in sync storage may not appear on this device. Try signing back in to Chrome with the original Google account, or check chrome://settings/syncSetup.
The Looper widget overlaps something I need.
The widget is draggable. Click and drag the header bar to move it anywhere on the page.
It doesn't work on YouTube Shorts.
Shorts use a different player and timeline. Looper is built for the standard on-demand YouTube player. There's no current plan to support Shorts.
Can I export my saved sections?
Export/import is on the roadmap but not shipped yet. If you need a workaround urgently, email the developer.
Before you report a bug
Including the following in your bug report makes it dramatically faster to fix:
- Chrome version (chrome://settings/help)
- Looper version (shown in the popup footer)
- The exact YouTube URL where it happened
- What you did, what you expected, what happened instead
- Any errors from the browser console (F12 → Console)
